I enjoyed book one. It has A Court of Throns and roses vibes but still felt like its own story.

No, I got bored during book two. Also, the way the author described the MMC's "thing" was not believable and kind of gave me the ick for the main couple's relationship. At that point there wasn't anything else keeping me invested in the story.
