A city girl returning to Alaska after 24 years to meet her estranged father comes crashing into a war of wits with the aggravating bush pilot who always says what is on his mind. But did this feud go a little to far or have things steamed to a boiling point? 🌶

My favorite thing about this book is the banter between the two main characters as well as the beautiful world the author creates. I want to step into their world and live alongside them.

This book had me crying from laughter and sadness, I experienced every emotion alongside these characters.

The book had a little bit of a slow start but picked up at chapter 5 and I was hooked. Once I hit chapter 5 I could not put it down and finished it in a day.

I prefer a dark-haired male lead and Jonah is blonde, but a wonderful thing about reading is we can imagine things anyway we want!

No, I started the second book and was just not feeling it.
