I really enjoyed reading this book! It was my first time reading anything by this author, and I am excited to read more. The writing style pulled me in from the beginning with a whimsical gothic world with knights, paranormal elements and weird, intriguing creatures.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝:

❥ I loved the gargoyle!! He had me laughing, loving him, and wanting to protect him. Definitely my favorite character in the book.

❥ The plot twists are amazing!! I was defiantly taken by surprise more than once.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞:

❥ There were times I lost interest in the book, and it took me a bit longer to finish because of that.

❥ There were some light descriptions of naked female dead bodies that made be cringe. It felt disrespectful.

Yes, the cliffhanger at the end needs answers!
