How the Fox Runs is a story that starts in the modern world and ends in a fantastical fantasy realm. This book from a new author is bestselling worthy. I was blown away by this beautifully written, incredible, and unique story. The characters are intriguing and lovable. I felt everything Alise experienced. Pain, anxiety, betrayal, hate, love, arousal…

I can personally relate to the sickening nausea reaction that Alise experiences from being around certain types of people to long. Also being able to sometimes feel other’s negative emotions can be overwhelming at times and you just want to run, to escape.

The endearing pet name is definitely my favorite from any book I have read. I can’t help but smile every time I read it!
