❥ The tension and chemistry were incredible. I am still having flashbacks to my favorite scenes.

❥ I absolutely loved the range of well-developed characters. Ywena was so adorable, I wanted to reach into the pages and steal her for myself. And then there was Rorik, I was smitten from the moment he appeared. He shattered and mended my heart, not to mention stirred up a whole lot of other feelings too!

❥ The setting gave me When Calls the Heart vibes but make it magical. A cozy mining town, and instead of a teacher, we have a healer.

❥ I just wanted more Rorik. I found myself constantly searching for his name. Yes, I was that obsessed.
