When I started this book I thought it was a standard alone. Silly me didn't do enough research 😂 I binged it and discovered I had made a grave mistake. The book finishes on a cliffhanger and the author haven't started to next book yet 😭Although she does have plans to do so...eventual. As of early 2026 there is still not release date.

Besides the ending I really enjoyed the book. I never quite knew what was going to happen next. Except for the main male character, it didn't follow the traditional romantasy story. I loved the mind magic trope it has become a new favorite of mine, she can read everyone but him. He is her quiet place away from the noise.

Yes, if the author publishes the next book before I loose interest. I read this book in 2024 shortly after it was released.
