I really enjoyed this book. The misunderstood villain meets a stubborn resilient woman who upends his world is a favorite trope of mine.

❥ I absolutely loved how attentive Sebastian is to Evie's needs.

❥ The growth the characters experience is amazing. Former rake and wallflower coming into better stronger versions of themselves.

❥ The banter, sexual tension, and intimate scenes were amazing. Definitely got me in my feels 🫣😉

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚:

❥ At times Sebastian was a bit too controlling for my tastes. But it would have been historically accurate.

❥ There was no final resolution regarding her uncle. I like my endings all tied up.
