This series has a great concept, but I felt like I had read it before, and for that reason I had a hard time staying interested in the story. Maybe I have read to many fantasy books 😂🫣 I also found the main female character a little annoying. I love the side characters Cal and Kip they made the books for me!!

On a side note; Blood and Steel was released three months before Fourth Wing and the Barlow characters feel very similar 👀
