I was swept into a world that felt like a wonderful blend of Harry Potter and Fourth Wing, minus the dragons, with a dark and cozy academia twist. From the very first chapter, I was hooked. I’ve always wished Hogwarts had a college version, and this story delivered exactly that.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙:

❥ The tarot card magic system is not only unique but detailed and intriguing. It was so refreshing reading something I have never experienced before.

❥ There are so many wonderful characters layered throughout the story. Some you love, others adore, and a few I wanted to k!ll.

❥ The romance wasn’t the main focus, but there was plenty to keep the tension simmering through the book. Prince Kaelis is dark, broody, dreamy, and so impressive.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚:

❥ The magic system was a little confusing at first since the glossary is tucked at the back. A quick reference guide up front would have made things much smoother. I didn't find it until after I finish the book.

❥ After leaving off on quite the cliffhanger, I am highly anticipating book two.
