I devoured this book in a day. The timing couldnβt have been better, it was raining here in Delaware, which set the perfect atmosphere for this moody, small-town mystery. An easy read but does have some heavier themes.
ππππ© π π‘π€π«ππ:
β₯ The rainy West Coast small-town setting gave the whole book a cozy yet haunting feeling.
β₯ The main male character was broody, protective, and so freaking in love with her. I was swooning.
ππππ© π ππππ£βπ© π‘ππ π:
β₯ The hints of an inappropriate relationship between an adult mentor and an 18-year-old girl. I get why it was included for the storyβs sake, but it still felt icky to read.
