𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 & 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
I was completely swept up in the story from the beginning. The unexpected plot twists and the range of interesting characters had me falling in love so hard. As a longtime fan of post WWI and WWII stories, this hit the spot!
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙:
❥ I loved the academia aspect and the interesting and unique study of dragon languages.
❥ The author’s talent for writing male characters who get under your skin is not fair 😭. Marquis and Atlas will forever have a place in my heart.
❥ I’m a sucker for romances involving letters and notes 🫠
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚:
❥ Normally, I’d want to see more romance between the main characters. But as this is young adult book, I think what was written is appropriate.
❥ The main female character's inner monologue did annoy me at times. She could be selfish, but I recognize that as part of her character growth.
𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬?
Yes.
