Tharan lifted my chin, our eyes met. "Your past is just a story, Aelia. Anytime you wish, you can start a new chapter. "

This book pulled me in from the beginning. It was an easy read that I binged in a day.

β₯ I loved Lucius. I would love to read a book with him as the main male character. He reminds me of a more vocal version of Azriel from the ACOTAR series.
β₯ This book feels like my long-awaited story of Lucian (from ACOTAR) gets the girl.
β₯ I loved the dark journey the main female character goes through. She feels very relatable.

β₯ I didn't like how fast the characters fall for each other. I usually like a little more tension and yearning #slowburn.
β₯ SPOILER- Similar to SJM books the first love interest isnβt the one she ends up with.
