Magic, love, friendship, betrayal, enemies to lovers, conspiracy, and breathtaking love scenes that warm your very core. These are a few of the amazing things you will experience while reading these books.
From the moment I start reading this series till the end I was swept up in a world of Fae, magic and sexy characters. I found myself wanting to live in their world. I never wanting to put the books down. When I had to go to work and do other things I found myself daydreaming about their world and at night when I dreamed, I was living with them.
One things in particular that I loved about these books is that the characters are so relatable, their struggles, their darkness, and their unquenchable desire for love 🌶🌶🌶.
Before I started reading this series I was skeptical. Although this may be an unpopular opinion, but I’m not a big fan of this author. She has amazing stories but predictably writes her books with the first love interest not being the real mate. She also writes run on scenes and a heavy amount of world building that gets dry (I skipped over most of this). This is my only reason for giving this series four stars instead of five.
There are so many amazing characters in this series that it is so hard to choose a favorite. They are all so unique, powerful and very well written that you just love them all! I really hope the author writes a book about each of the character's individual love stories, the two I look most forward to are Azriel and Amren.
“I threw myself into that fire, threw myself into it, into him, and let myself burn.”
“I fell in love with you, smartass, because you were one of us—because you weren’t afraid of me, and you decided to end your spectacular victory by throwing that piece of bone at Amarantha like a javelin. I felt Cassian’s spirit beside me in that moment, and could have sworn I heard him say, ‘If you don’t marry her, you stupid prick, I will.”
“We're all a broken, in our own ways - In places no one might see.”
“I think my heart knew you were mine long before I ever realized it.”
𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙄 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨?
Probably. I had a hard time getting through A Court of Silver Flames and the author is taking so long to publishing the next book. If it about Azriel I will defiantly read it. If not, I may get to it eventually.
